Manfred Zapatka was awarded with the Bavarian Television Award in the Best Actor category for his portrayal of Chief Inspector Jan Haroska in the ZDF-series “KDD-Kriminaldauerdienst”.

Jens Harant is nominated for best camera at the German Camera Award 2009 for his excellent work in the episode “Am Abgrund” of the ZDF series “KDD-Kriminaldauerdienst”.

Furthermore, Karin Hartusch is nominated in the category “Best Editing” for her work on “KDD-Kriminaldauerdienst: Letzte Chance.”

At the German Filmfestival, John Rabe won the following categories.

best male actor in a leading role
best art direction
best costume design

At this years’ Festival de Télévision de Monte-Carlo Turkish for Beginners III has been nominated in the categorie Best Comedy Series.
